Maternity Photos and an Update at 35 Weeks - Ammie Harris

I am sharing my maternity photos and a pregnancy update at 35 weeks. Enjoy!

Baby girl and I are officially 5 weeks away from our due date and time is flying by! I can definitely agree with all of the moms who say each subsequent pregnancy goes by so much faster!

HOW I Am FEELING at 35 Weeks

I feel absolutely amazing! I completely attribute this to staying active and on top of my nutrition this pregnancy.

The Purium superfoods I am consuming daily have made a huge difference this time around. I have an entire video on the benefits and how they have helped me feel so amazing during this pregnancy!

With my first son, I ate healthy and kept my body moving, but I always felt hungry and had more unhealthy cravings. Now that I am properly fueling my body with such amazing nutrients, I have zero cravings, my skin looks amazing, and my energy is high!

Ok, I do get pretty tired around 7pm, but what’s to be expected after chasing around a busy toddler and carrying a baby!

SLEEP

Sleep is something I began to struggle with around weeks 28-30 and was the same way with my first pregnancy. I am not a side sleep and even more so not a LEFT side sleeper. It takes me forever to get comfortable and then once I do get to sleep, I seem to always wake up and find myself lying on my right side. So, the whole ordeal of rolling back over to my left side begins! Oh and don’t even get me started on getting out of the bed!

I have been relying heavily on my Purium superfoods, apothe-cherry juice each night before bed for some deep sleep. I have an entire video discussing the products I have been taking through this pregnancy and this one is my favorite!

THE BELLY

I really had not realized how big my belly was until I began looking at these photos from my maternity photo shoot! Didn’t my husband do an amazing job capturing this special time in our lives?

Some of my coworkers have told me that baby girl has definitely dropped! I’m not 100% sure, but I do feel a bit more weight in my lower abdomen these days.

Home Birth PREPARATION

We have almost everything in place for the home birth. I have the birth room painted, all of the supplies that my midwife requested, and our home birth kit just arrived in the mail. Check out my video discussing our home birth supplies and preparation for the birth.

I am adding the last few touches to baby girl’s upstairs nursery, though she won’t be sleeping up there for at least six or seven months.

Our midwife will be visiting next week when I am 36 weeks to get a feel of our home before the birth. She likes to see the location that the birth will take place, locate where the laundry room is and extra supplies, and just visit with us in our own home!

I have loved being under the care of a midwife and am very excited about having her on my birth team!
