Oh, if porch swings could talk! There are so many memories that have already been made here and many yet to come. We moved into this house exactly one year ago and this porch and swing is exactly what sold me on this home. I could picture all the laid back mornings and quiet evenings here with my husband and our children. We would rock with them here when they were little and then watch them from here playing in our front yard when they grew older. My son was a newborn when we moved to this home, and he loved this swing from day one. We spent many late nights swinging out here and this swing seemed to instantly calm him. I can only picture all the beautiful times that will be made on this swing but for now I’ll let him enjoy his shake and pray for time to slow down! #boymom

The year 2020: what a whirlwind, transformative, blessing of a year! When I was still in high school myself, I dreamed of being a teacher. I had intentions of changing the lives of the students who sat in my classroom day in and day out. Intentions to be the listener, the mama, the counselor, and the leader that some of them may never have. Through my career, I’ve been given the opportunity to meet many students, and I hope to have changed a few of their lives for the better! I pray that I have taught them about life, leadership, health, and maybe a little math along the way. Algebra can be intertwined into any aspect of life, right? Teaching was the most rewarding experience I’ve encountered until I became a mama a little over a year ago. Watching my son grow, develop his little personality, and learn new things is quite possibly the most incredible experience I have ever encountered. However, knowing I have to leave him and go to my day job, has easily become the hardest trial of this new mama’s life. The recent events of 2020 have “awakened” me to the reality of how much time I am missing away from my young child. Something had to change! This past May, I embarked on a journey to share my passion for true health with this online community. Over the past 2 years, I have seen the power of proper nutrition in my body, my skin, my mood, and even in my young son’s growth and development. I believe that the foods we eat can either be a healing medicine for our bodies or the slowest form of poison one can ingest. I am passionate about sharing my family’s lifestyle with this community and helping others along the way. I am sharing all of this with you to say that I have started an online business. My son, as well as my future children, deserve a well-nourished, well-rested, happy, stress-free mama to teach them about life, health, being a leader, and maybe a little bit of math along the way! Are there other mamas out there striving to be the best version of themselves, mentally, physically, and financially for their babies?
